I had breakfast. The lady at the counter was friendly. It was around 7:20am on a Sunday. I was the only customer. There are booths and standalone tables for seating. Strangely (to me), I could have my eggs scrambled with the “Big Breakfast”: only fried or poached (which I don’t eat). So I ordered scrambled eggs on toast with a side of bacon, and coffee. The portion of eggs was large. Two slices of (probably) sourdough toast. If you prefer your bacon crispy, you’ll need to ask. The food was decent, but unremarkable. Unfortunately, if you like your coffee, it wasn’t great (I had an Americano). I suspect their urn could use a clean. For what it was, I thought it was slightly expensive ($24.44), but it is a small village.

Wow do not judge a book by its cover - go inside! The choccy muffin tasted great and the caramel slice was delicious. We also couldn't resist the lemon and Neenah tarts too! Pies also looked amazing so we will be back.
